How do I register?
Download the registration form from the website. Include the annual $25 non-refundable family registration fee and the first payment or session payment in full.
  • Mail completed registrations, registration fee and payment to 520 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, Ct. 060701.
  • Fax completed registration form to (860) 658-1665. Please follow up all faxed registration forms with a phone call.
  • Phone-in registrations to (860) 658-7340 ext. 201  A credit card must be given over the phone to secure your child's registration. This form of registration requires that a  completely filled out registration form follow up all phone-in registrations. (Please be sure to initial where indicated and sign all releases as well as the tuition agreement). Students will not be allowed to participate in classes until the completed registration form is in the office.


Why is the registration form a Full Year Registration?

To ensure that your child's space in class is held throughout the school year and so that you do not have to re-register, your child is registered at The Gymnastics Training Center from the onset of registration UNTIL June 19, 2010. Please note that we will post signs in the gym as well as email you a reminder at the end of October.
If you don't want your child to continue on to Session 2, please drop off a withdrawal form or fax a letter to us between November 1st and 7, 2010 to end classes on December 23, 2010.
Please understand that your child's place in class is very valuable. There are other children waiting to take his/her spot in the event that you withdraw. Non-attendance does not constitute notice of withdrawal.

Payments and Refunds

  • Payments may be made in full or monthly for each session by check, cash, or Visa/Mastercard. (We bill one month ahead for monthly payments.)
  • Automatic Payments, either monthly or session, by Visa/Mastercard may be made by indicating that on the registration form and by signing the authorization.
  • Bills will be sent via email for balances owed by check.
  • Session Payment: Payment in full is due upon registration.
  • Installment Plan: There are four installments for  Session 1. Monthly payments are subject to an additional fee of $4.00 per month / child.
  • A $25.00 non-refundable, annual, family registration fee and full or partial payment for the first session must accompany all registrations (September 1, 2009 - August 31, 2010.)
  • There are no refunds. If a schedule conflict arises, we will try our best to transfer your child to a different class. If your child does not enjoy his / her class, please let us know immediately so that we can make adjustments.

Vacation and Holiday Closings

GTC is closed on the following days for all regularly scheduled classes. Please check our "What's New" webpage to view our special events that will be held when GTC is closed.

  • September 7, Labor Day
  • October 12, Columbus Day
  • November 3, Election Day
  • November 11, Veteran's Day
  • November 26 - 28, Thanksgiving
  • February 15 - 20, February recess
  • April 19 - 24, April recess
If your child is registered for a Monday class during Session 1, please call the office to schedule a make up class for the Labor Day closing. All other days have 15 classes so there is no need to schedule a make-up class.
Discounts and Referral Program

Thank you for choosing GTC! We are happy to extend the following discounts to you:
  • Receive $50 off total fee when registering a family!
  • Receive $50 off total fee when registering for multiple classes!
  • Receive $10 towards another session of gymnastics when you pay in full by check!
School Delays and GTC Closings

Gym closings will be posted on The Gymnastics Training Center by 8 am, www.nbc30.com . Please note that we do not follow any particular school sytem for closings and will update our website and recording at noon and 3 p.m. for afternoon and evening classes.
Make-up Classes

Students are strongly encouraged not to miss class, however, we realize that situations may arise that prevent attendance.
  • It is important to us that your child is able to enjoy class fully. Having said that, please keep your child home  if  he or she is sick and call the office at 658-7340 ext. 201 to schedule a make up class.
  • Please call the office in advance to notify us of your child's absence and to schedule a make up class.
  • If you  will be out on an extended vacation, please contact Nancy at 658-7340 ext. 202.


Dress Code and Virtual Online Pro Shop

For your convenience, GTC has an assortment of gymnastics leotards for sale in our lobby or you may shop at the Virtual Pro Shop online at www.alphafactoraerials.com. Enter the gym ID: GTC Simsbury and shop to your hearts content!

  • Tot/ Preschool:  comfortable clothing that will allow your child freedom to move! Robeez or barefeet.
  • Girls 5 yrs. and up:  Leotards, barefeet or gymnastics slippers. (footless tights and biker shorts are optional.) Hair tied back, no jewelry please!
  • Boys 5 yrs. and up:  Elastic waist shorts or warmup pants and a fitted tee shirt. Long hair must be tied back.
